Social Action

Social Action is Omega Psi Phi’s commitment to addressing issues that affect the quality of life in our communities. Chapters advocate for equality, economic empowerment, public safety, education, criminal justice reform, and community development. Social Action often includes community forums, partnerships with local organizations, neighborhood improvement projects, advocacy efforts, and initiatives designed to address pressing social concerns.

Social Action empowers communities by giving residents a voice and creating opportunities for positive change. In a city like Inglewood, Social Action might involve addressing housing concerns, educational opportunities, youth violence prevention, economic development, voter awareness, or supporting local nonprofits. The goal is to improve conditions and create pathways for long-term success.
